Beaches, booze, and all expenses paid were enough to entice 16 people to spend a Spring Break in Cancun for the producers of MTV’s The Real World. Cameras were positioned throughout the house, and their resort hosts and camera crews allowed cut them loose to just party all they wanted.

While there were 16 people invited, the film spent most of the time focusing on half. It takes a scorecard to keep track for the first thirty or forty minutes of the movie, but things do fall into a nice groove, and it becomes easier to enjoy the antics and personalities on screen.

The entire movie was about partying, and everybody did that -- as well as go in pursuit of other interests (see the opposite sex). By the end of the film, the audience can admit that it’s a guilty pleasure, but they would never have gone to the theater for it. When they choose to buy this DVD for themselves, they’ll claim it to be a gift for someone else.

The extras included deleted scenes, cast insights, and footage from the premier of the theatrical release. The scenes give more of the same, the cast insights are definitely humorous to watch, and the highlights of the premier will leave viewers wondering what else happened that wasn’t shared in the final cut or the deleted scenes.
