I stopped buying exercise videos a few years ago when I realized I was not coordinated enough for this step-touch-step-touch-march-it-out stuff. When I saw The Works with Sharon Mann - Yoga/Pilates, I decided to give it another shot and I was very impressed. And guess what. I’m still doing it.

This video gives you a ton of variety in your workout to keep you from getting bored with a routine. You pick the type of warm-up you want – yoga, pilates, athletic stretch, or flexible strength. Then you pick two separate workout routines, choosing from a list of eight different items for each workout - yoga, pilates, athletic stretch, sculpt, stability ball, and more. Then you choose a cool down, such as tai chi.

If that’s too much work for you, you can choose one of “Sharon’s Picks” and start working out to a combination of routines designed by Sharon.

For each routine, you can choose to follow along with the beginners, intermediate or advanced people. The beginner routines have modified poses to help you do the workout properly without going overboard. As you do more, you’ll want to make your workout more challenging by doing the intermediate or advanced routines.

The Works series also includes Cardio and Body Sculpt. These also give you a combination of routines to pick from. If you only want to buy one workout video, The Works series gives you all the variety you need to keep you motivated, challenged, and having fun!
