When I was a little girl, my mom had this huge stack of vinyl records—rock music from the ‘60s and ‘70s, which included Tommy James and the Shondells, Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs, Sonny & Cher, and, of course, The Beach Boys. Though I would have never admitted to my friends back then, I loved listening to those “oldies.” And no summer would be complete without a tune or two from The Beach Boys.
