Mickey Hart has been known by Deadheads as the sole percussionist for The Grateful Dead. Over the years, Hart has collected an enormous amount of percussive instruments. In this CD, he shows the world that beautiful music can be made using only various percussion instruments.

The entire CD takes you on a journey around jungle paradises, down rivers, and hopping along islands. Each song has a harmony and a melody intermingling on the same path. Hand drums dance as the body turns into a percussion instrument, gliding on mesmerizing vocal chants. It is thirteen songs connected tightly to each other. A whole dissertation could be released on each song.

This CD is not for everyone. There is singing, but it is not like typical singing heard on the radio. If you like to try new things with an open mind, this CD is for you. If you fear things out of the norm, then you may want to skip this disc.
