The Greatest Fairy Tale Never Told…

…Until Now.

From the creators of Willow, Dreamworks brings you the tale of Shrek.

This movie is hilarious from the moment the opening title credits start to roll. But what can you expect from a cast with the likes of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, and John Lithgow? The story follows Shrek (Myers), a lonesome orge, and his lively sidekick partner, Donkey (Murphy) on their quest to find and rescue Princess Fiona (Diaz) from the far reaches of Duloc. Lord Farquaad (Lithgow) banishes all fairy tale creatures from the Duloc kingdom and sends them to Shrek’s swamp until he can bring Princess Fiona to him — to become his wife and give them the perfect kingdom.

This brilliant film contains over an hour of comedy, laughs, romance, and a unique tale of friendship and love. It’s a film that will appeal to people of all age groups and taste.

The graphics to this movie are impressive, the dialogue is believable, and the story is just as wonderful. The ripping of Disney’s Snow White and other films is extremely funny.

Adults — don’t be fooled and think this is a children’s film. It’s very much aimed at a wider audience with a few very amusing adult-themed jokes. Yet again, this is another film I’m going to have trouble faulting. I’d recommend it to anyone, film buff or not.
