Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley, for you Harry Potter fans) is clearly a smart young lad — too smart, in fact, to get caught up in the whole Hollywood hoo-hah.
According to WENN, the 19-year-old has no intention of moving to Hollywood — because it might mean running into people like Linsday Lohan and Paris Hilton.
Apparently, Grint’s recent run-in with Lohan wasn’t a pleasant experience:
“I met Lindsay last summer and she talked about herself a lot. She said she was going to win an Oscar before she turns 25. I just kept thinking, ‘But you can’t act’. I haven’t met Paris and don’t want to either. She and Lindsay are the type of girls you need to stay away from.”
Meanwhile, the countdown is on for the reportedly self-obsessed (yeah, I know — I’m surprised, too) young Miss Lohan, who has less than 3 1/2 years to learn how to act.
And, speaking of people who can’t act, rumor has it that Britney Spears is returning to CBS’s How I Met Your Mother to reprise her recent ratings-busting role. Though Spears is too old to shoot for L-Lo’s Oscar-by-25 goal, it’s not too late for Emmy-by-28. Still more likely, however, is has-been-by-30.
