Man’s best friend is on the verge of a monumental breakthrough. Professor Brody (Jeff Goldblum) is getting closer and closer to discovering a spray that will cure people’s dog allergies forever, and the dogs are doing everything in their power to protect him and his work. The cats, however, led by a fluffy white cat known as Mr. Tinkles, are willing to do anything in their power to get to Brody and destroy his research.

When the Brodys’ dog is captured by the cats, Mrs. Brody (Elizabeth Perkins) goes out to find a new pet. But instead of one of the puppies that the dogs have trained to protect the Brodys, Mrs. Brody chooses Lou, an untrained, overzealous puppy who’s eager to join in the fight against the cats and become a real secret agent.

Cats & Dogs is a wonderfully imaginative movie that’s just as fun for adults as it is for kids. It’s a little bit like a James Bond movie—with some of The Matrix thrown in for fun—all wrapped up in a fuzzy, family-friendly package. Whether you’re having movie night with the kids—or you’re just in the mood for something a little different, pick up Cats & Dogs. It’s cute, it’s funny, it’s full of silly gadgets—and I promise that you’ll enjoy it every bit as much as the kids will.
