Peony Whistleby has grown tired of waiting for her true love, so she decides to try her luck at rolling naked in the morning dew on May Day. Her cousin, Lucasta, thinks that she’s lost her wits and should know better than to believe in such superstitious nonsense.

As she’s rolling in the dew, though, Peony attracts the attention of Sir Alexis Court, who just happens to be Lucasta’s betrothed. Horrified, Peony tries to convince Sir Alexis Court that he can’t be in love with her—that it’s just the result of magic, and it’s not real. The only problem is that she’s in love with him, too—but she’s determined not to believe that it’s real.

The Magic of His Touch is a short, sweet paranormal romance with a little bit of sizzle thrown in to give it an extra kick of spice.

Peony is such an adorable heroine that you can’t help but to want to find her true love—even after doing something as ridiculous as rolling naked in the dew. Though she believes in supernatural things, she still comes across as a sensible young woman who yearns to find the love of a lifetime.

A good dose of the paranormal is thrown into this magical tale, giving the plot an extra edge that will keep you hooked to more than just the romance. Cute, witty, and entertaining The Magic of His Touch will keep your lights on well past midnight and leave you with a smile on your face, too.
