Growing up in South Carolina with an iron-fisted father who was not afraid to wield his
belt against soft feminine flesh, Tory depended on her friendship with Hope Lavell, the
daughter of one of the town’s more prominent families. Tory’s life held no promise but
with Hope, she could escape into the childhood denied her by her life of misery and

Carolina Moon is the first book I’ve read by this author and
I am looking forward to reading them all. Ms. Roberts spins a page-turner that kept me
on the edge of my seat from cover to cover.
